Pros

- Very good work - life balance with lots of free time - Modern offices with lots of facilities - Opportunity to work with the latest technology available - Cycle scheme + dedicated lockers (+ showers available to all staff) - Great apprenticeships programs - Annual PDR (personal development and review) is always fair - Professional training is encouraged and paid for in full by the company - Lots of events organised by the sports and social club - Very cheap coffee ( 10p each) - Plenty of parking spaces available for all employees - Senior Management gives regular updates about the status of the company to all member of staff

Cons

- Small company - Almost impossible to get a promotion unless someone retires or quits - Wages are pretty small, but they are good for the manufacturing sector

Pros

Good and informal working atmosphere. Very friendly colleagues. As long as you do your job no one will give you unnecessary grief. There is a bonus scheme. Salaries are not great to start with but with regular small anual raises, you salary will reach decent niveau if you stay there for longer period as the most employees do.

Cons

Dewhurst family is majority shareholder and they are very profit oriented. Any dip in profits makes them trigger happy and thinking how to reduce working force further i.e. it means another redundancy is about. During my time at Dewhust I experienced four major redundancies. This also means less and less workers and more and more work for those that survive the cull.
