Pros

DigitalDay has a laid back work environment and some recognizable clients. Projects are generally interesting and coworkers are passionate about their jobs.

Cons

Since DigitalDay is a small company, the opportunities for growth and advancement are very limited. Compensation is below the market average and yearly reviews are often pushed off as long as possible. Communication between management and employees is virtually nonexistent about important issues and changes. There is no appreciation shown for a job well done and employees are often working late nights and weekends due to management's poor project estimations and promises to clients.

Pros

It was refreshing to work in a relaxed atmosphere with some of the area's most experienced web designers and developers on creative and technically challenging projects for well-known clients and brands.

Cons

Micromanagement by some of the agency's key clients who had little experience in marketing and NO experience in digital could be frustrating. Creative ideas often were watered down to be "safe". Bad client-side project management would sometimes cause last-minute scope changes and extra hours to "make the client happy." Unfortunately, this is often the reality in the life of an agency.
