Pros

The company truly embodies the ideals of a modern workplace that values its employees. the company's commitment to supporting remote work has been a game-changer. They've invested in the necessary technology and infrastructure to make remote work seamless. This also given us the flexibility we need to balance work and life. My manager and team leads have been not just bosses but mentors who genuinely care about their team's success and well-being. They provide clear direction, regular feedback, and ample opportunities for growth. Compensation at Dropbox is fair and competitive. The company recognises the hard work and dedication they regularly review and adjust salaries to ensure they are in line with industry standards. You can be confident that your efforts are recognised and rewarded here. The support for remote work, amazing leadership, commitment to diversity, focus on continuous improvement, and fair compensation make it a top-notch place to work. I feel privileged to be a part of this organisation and excited about the future it holds for all of us.

Cons

The overall experience is positive. While no workplace is perfect, Dropbox comes to close.

Pros

- Benefits - Work from home - Colleagues that are friendly and willing to help - You can work independently and be trusted to do good work

Cons

- Many positions require you to be available in certain timezones, so this can limit your career opportunities if you don't live in a popular timezone. - There are issues with ownership of product areas within engineering. This makes it difficult to get things done when you can't find the owner or knowledgeable person. - Employees aren't held accountable enough for underperformance
