Thanks for leaving a review, we love hearing from our current employees especially when they mention our commitment to flex working. Being recognised, rewarded and celebrated for all that you do is an essential part of our culture and is key to creating a workplace where you feel valued for your contributions. A lot of time is spent reviewing rates of pay to make sure you are remunerated equitably and competitively. If you haven't already it might be worth mentioning this to your People Leader or alternatively reaching out to a member of the People & Culture team so they can look into this with you.

Pros

You quickly learn how to navigate high stakes stakeholder dynamics (though often for the wrong reasons). Working from home flexibility. You get to work with a capable delivery team that manages to keep things moving

Cons

Top down project management. Focus on delivery timeframes without consideration of impact to the delivery teams and internal stakeholders. The leadership style fosters an environment of anxiety rather than one of growth or collaboration. There is a significant gap between leadership's expectations and the actual resources available. There are so many reviews about great culture which I'm yet to experience within the project delivery area. The company values don't exist in project delivery If you are a contractor, expect to work overtime and don't expect to feel supported.

Thanks for sharing such thoughtful and candid feedback. It’s clear you care about the work and the people around you, and we appreciate you calling out both what’s working and what isn’t. It’s good to hear flexibility and the strength of the delivery teams have made a difference. At the same time, we recognise the concerns you’ve raised around pressure, resourcing and leadership behaviours in project delivery. Creating an environment where people feel supported, valued and able to do their best work matters to us, and feedback like this highlights where focus is needed to better align expectations, capacity and our values in practice. We’re continuing to reflect on how we lead work and support both employees and contractors. If you’re open to it, further feedback through our usual People & Impact channels is always welcomed.
