Toxic boss promoted a bullying culture - Department Manager Bon Appétit Management Employee Review

My supervisor was extremely crass and unprofessional, promoting a toxic, bullying culture. He would make extremely sexist bigoted comments and enjoyed harassing employees and encouraging his favored employees to do so as well, laughing at and making fun of gender fluid/trans employees. He would not take ownership of his mistakes and instead blamed, yelled at and harassed subordinates for his own shortcomings and inability to execute his job duties effectively. He alienated my coworkers and myself and caused them and me to quit when we had enough and couldn't take it anymore. He told me to "grow a thicker skin" when I spoke out about it. It is disgusting that the upper level managers allowed this and did nothing to prevent or stop him. Good old boy culture, no compassion.
