Cons
I would not recommend working here based on my personal experience.
In my experience, expectations were often unclear and support structures were limited. Management practices felt inconsistent at times, and there were few established processes to rely on, which made navigating work challenging. Tasks were frequently assigned with limited context or direction.
I would not recommend this organisation for people looking for strong career development opportunities or the chance to contribute to meaningful improvements. It did not appear that much time was invested in developing staff, and the organisation did not seem particularly open to change or new ideas. Coaching and guidance were minimal.
From what I observed, many employees had either been there for a very long time or were relatively new due to waves of redundancies. This seemed to contribute to a general sense of job insecurity.
Culturally, I found the environment somewhat isolating. Teams appeared to work quite independently, which limited interaction with colleagues and stakeholders. I did not experience a strong sense of psychological safety and often felt there was little encouragement to ask questions.
While colleagues were generally polite and professional, some were difficult to collaborate with, and there was not a strong sense of community. People often came into the office on different days, and interaction across teams felt limited. Some staff, including members of management, chose to sit separately, which further reduced opportunities for support and collaboration.
Communication could also be slow at times, with work-related messages occasionally going unanswered. I was also contacted outside standard working hours.
Overall, this organisation may not be the right fit for those who value a collaborative environment, career development, and job stability.
