There are so many Pros when it comes to being a part of the Onyx MD family because, that's exactly what it is like being an employee here, a family. The leadership in place here take a personal interest in each and every employee. I was new to the industry and had some horrible experiences with other, bigger firms. When I came to Onyx, I could feel the love from the moment I walked in the door, they valued me, they appreciated me, and they have done everything in their power to make sure I am successful here and reach all of my goals. The company values stretch beyond the office door. At Onyx we participate in multiple charitable organizations and just recently brought in a needy family and surprised them with a wonderful Christmas with all the fixings. We decorated the office, put up a Christmas tree, went out and personally purchased the items on the kids wish list, wrapped them and put them under the tree. When the family came into the office that day, the look on their faces would melt anyone's heart. That is Onyx MD and we correlate that to the way we do business. We are physician owned and we treat our physicians and clients well. The personal growth opportunities are also excellent! We are growing everyday and have a lot of leadership positions available for anyone willing to come in and give it all they have, while following our ELITE values. Not only can you grow professionally but, also as a person. Coming to Onyx MD is the best thing that has ever happened to me for many reasons and I would recommend them to anyone that wants to be better, and have better!

Good pay & good benefits Fun team outings and very friendly staff CEO & CFO make themselves easily available to employees

Unfortunately, a lot of leaders do not have a sales background, so ideas and advice from them about how to sell are not the best. I applaud their efforts, because they really do try, but no matter how hard you try, you can't teach your employees how to sell or how to negotiate with decision makers when you have never done so yourself. And especially for new hires who are new to the industry, not having leaders who have done sales before makes it more difficult to be successful. It can be difficult to meet your personal goals when there are no seminars, no training programs, no classes or courses to further your education about the field, etc. It is very frustrating to someone who wants to thrive in sales and be successful when there is no material available to you other than Google or articles that the CEO writes. They say they are hiring and that opportunities at the company are endless, but over the last 6 months, they have eliminated roles (including leadership roles) and have eliminated an entire territory. This is very confusing.

Thank you for your feedback. I respect your opinion about the company and we will make sure your view(s) are relayed back to the executive team. The sales leadership was changed in 2016 and due to these changes new ideas and thoughts have been brought to the table which require challenging the status quo. Any time there is leadership change in any organization it is the norm to have opinions such the one you share and, as a result, some employees will not like the new direction or agree on the course of actions. Unfortunately, you have falsely characterized the sales leadership experience. Our current sales leaders have over 25+ years of experience specific to inside sales. With regards to sales training, this is an area where we have identified as a priority to reinforce. You might be surprised to hear that many of the changes that have and are coming to Onyx M.D. will be training enhancements. I love your idea of making the leadership team more available to the staff. Over the last 6-8 months leadership availability has been formalized (e.g. round tables and one on ones) and the results have been phenomenal as many of the improvements in the company have come from employee feedback. Lastly, Onyx M.D. ranks in the top 15 companies nationwide according to the latest Staffing Industry reports for physician and mid-level temp/perm staffing. This award is one of the most prestigious in the industry because it comes directly from our clients. The company has a promising future with many opportunities for its staff.
