Pros

Great people that need to leave when they can !

Take the positive reviews with caution, many were encouraged internally and don’t reflect reality. Soprano Design operates under a culture of fear. Some members of the executive team lead through intimidation rather than inspiration. Disrespect, dismissive behaviour, and public humiliation have become part of daily life. Decisions are made impulsively, priorities shift constantly, and employees are left to deal with the fallout. The environment is toxic: pressure is constant, collaboration is discouraged, and taking responsibility is rare. When things go wrong, blame is pushed down the chain. Morale is low, turnover is high, and burnout is seen as normal. Also words like bullying, narcissistic, egotism, controlling, know it all, disrespect, selfish, come to mind. There are great people in this company. Smart, motivated, and kind, but they are trapped in a system that rewards control, not competence. Many eventually leave, not because they can’t handle the work, but because they can’t tolerate the culture. Others are fired because they stood up for honesty and respect. If you value professionalism, respect, or psychological safety, look elsewhere.

Most of the accounts you'll talk to are Large Enterprise customers, helping them with their SMS use cases & features they need.

Cons

From the top down this place has the worst culture, expect everyday to get completely micromanaged. Calls start with your manager about what your plan is for the day, then you'll have an afternoon babysitting call as well. Every week you have calls going over your forecast & if you do not know every ounce of detail on when it will close then you'll hear about it. One time the CEO asked me what I had planned for the week & I told him about a Hospital I had an appointment with Mid February. They were interested in using his platform, so he told me I should just send them the proposal before I even had a discovery call with them. That is Sales 101, and the leader of the company is telling me this. Take the job if you need the $ but do not expect to last, all the CEO wants is 100% of quota hit every quarter. He will raise quota on you so that even obtaining any commission is out of the question. You are just a number, he clearly will let you know that within the first 6 months of working there. He turns & burns employees faster than Eminem's "Rap God". He asks employees to leave good reviews about his company too.
