Commission can be extremely lucrative as a top performer. If you put in the work and are successful, you'll make a ton of money. On a daily basis, there's a ton of autonomy as to how you structure your schedule. So long as you're getting your job done, there isn't very much micro-management. There's a clear growth trajectory for the sales role, with significant pay increases from tier to tier. Office: A lot of space, which is quite the opposite of companies that try to save every inch and force people to work in cramped environments. There are four computer screens—something I’ve never seen before, and I liked it. Electric height-adjustable desks, which I take for granted. Phone booths for private conversations, a great kitchen with fully stocked fridges, cold beer, pet-friendly environment, etc. Location: A quiet suburb with spacious parking and a quick commute for those who live nearby. Work: A startup-like atmosphere with opportunities to wear many hats and tackle interesting, challenging technical problems. It’s definitely not a boring place and offers potential for professional growth. You can choose to work in-office, hybrid, or remote. Positive and friendly people, supportive mentoring. A positive attitude toward mistakes (because people learn from them) is one of the best qualities here.
