Pros
From reading some of the past reviews, to now having worked here for over a year, I can say that the company has grown immensely, especially in how they conduct themselves. There is still improvements to be made, as with all growing companies, but Filament provides excellent pay, a competitive and incentivizing setting, and a sense of community. Management, especially, is working continuously to provide a work environment that is motivating, understanding, inclusive, and patient.
Working at Filament allows you to exercise a variety of skills that you can use to mold yourself into a stronger candidate that deserves a higher pay rate. The people are funny, welcoming, professional, and hard-working. From my point of view, days consist of an ideal balance of laughter and work, and managerial support in times of struggle or stress is always prevalent. Paid time off and sick days are flexible, and the benefits offered have continuously improved.
Of course, there are still flaws. But overall, I think the company has made a lot of improvements and is continuing to. It’s growing in size, profit, and function, and it’s inspiring to see it unfold.
