Pros
- Very supportive culture
- Seem to actually live by their core values, they aren’t just empty words
- Ok benefits- 6% employer contribution to pension, PMI, 25 days holiday +BH
- Yes they made redundancies, however this sector is undergoing massive M&A at the moment so most people know to expect this going in. What sets Freedom Fibre apart is that they gave more than twice the notice time they needed to (they told us as soon as they knew, almost 2.5 months before we were let go) AND they paid us PILON, which I’m fairly sure they didn’t actually have to do, given the notice they gave us. They genuinely care about their employees.
- SLT are extremely approachable and don’t hide in offices- they sit with everyone else.
- Work life balance was great. I had a lot of support as a new mum returning to work after maternity leave.
Cons
For me there just wasn’t enough work. I felt like I was bored and hunting around for work quite often.
