      Pros

      Working at Friendship House has been a highly positive experience that has supported me in improving clinical skills with children/families, overall professional development, and leadership skills. I was able to pursue supervision that allowed me to become a board certified art therapist and licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. Throughout the last 4 years at Friendship House, I've never felt as though I was falling through the cracks, unimportant, or just a name/number at the company.

      Cons

      Any down-sides I have faced in this position have been more related to broader difficulties in the non-profit mental health, educational, and social services agencies in this area rather than Friendship House.

      Over the years I have been able to establish great relationships with many co-workers. These relationships are what make coming to work enjoyable and rewarding as we fulfill the mission of Friendship House.

      Sometimes can be very hectic trying to meets the needs of the clients and families.
