Pros

- OId school, SMB IT - A good amount of freedom on how things are done, should or can be done - Nothing is set in stone, things are ever changing, you have to adapt quickly - Doing things in-house whenever possible rather than being outsourced - Hands on with a lot of different technologies, infrastructure, procurement, deployment - Make and be accountable for operational/policy decision making - Lots of opportunities to learn and test out new/different things - You manage your own time, lots of flexibility

Cons

- It maybe a con for some but wearing too many hats.
