Every single position in the IT department is underpaid by 40% (and that's based on the WV average). Upper management is incompetent (the CIO can't tell the difference between new and used toner, has no idea what waterfall development even is), middle management has no power, the workload is too high and hard efforts go unrewarded and unnoticed.
The department is far too small and far too underskilled to support a company the size of Gabe's. Not only that, they will expect you to work weeks of overtime (Without being compensated for it, they will take days off of the following weeks instead) or weekend/nights for the higher level positions. As a holiday bonus for performing well, we legitimately received a McDonald's Arch Card (valued at $10) - what a joke.
There are some smart people in the department but they all feel like they fell into a sinkhole and got trapped there for 5+ years. Avoid this company at all costs if you are in IT. It is the worst possible employer you could find.
