Working at Groza Learning Center has been an absolute joy and a significant highlight of my career as an educator. As someone who teaches homeschool students and tutors in the afternoon, the supportive and loving environment of the center truly stands out. Firstly, the physical space of the center is simply beautiful. It's a place where both students and staff feel welcomed and inspired. But what makes Groza truly special is the people. The sense of community here is strong, and everyone – from the other teachers to the administrative staff – is incredibly supportive and caring. The Director of the center deserves a special mention. Not only is she always ready to lend a helping hand, but her dedication to both the staff's and students' well-being is remarkable. For instance, when I was going through a difficult time and fell sick, she went above and beyond her duties. I was deeply touched when she sent me homemade chicken soup. Another time, when my family and I were going through tough times, she spent time on the phone with me late into the evening, offering a listening ear and comfort. Her kindness and empathy during that challenging period were something I will never forget. Another delightful aspect of working here is the whimsical touch of the tiny toy turtles that are scattered throughout the center. They're constantly being moved to different spots, creating a fun and engaging game for the staff. It's these small, thoughtful details that contribute to a joyful and playful atmosphere, making every day at Groza Learning Center an exciting adventure. I feel extremely fortunate to be part of the Groza family.
