I had a great experience at HAS, they’re great at communicating and helping you with your schedule. You get lots of overtime if you need and you don’t need to be overly qualified, they teach you everything.
Cons
Driving clients around is required and you use your own vehicle and gas money.
HAS inc helped provide the opportunity for growth and leadership in helping adults with severe mental health needs to have the support they needed. Superiors were supportive in times of crisis when working with clients and helped to advocate for employees' rights.
Cons
Not everyone was cut out to work with clients that have severe mental health concerns. Being a 24 hour staff and providing empathetic care can and did create burn-out quickly. Scheduling was always an issue while working with the bosses, but could often be sorted out with enough patience.
