Thank you for sharing this and for five years of impact with us ! It means a great deal to hear that the ownership-driven culture and learning opportunities have made a real difference in your journey. That's exactly the kind of environment we set out to build — one where people can grow fast, work on problems that matter, and feel genuinely supported by those around them. You're right that the pace here is real. Health-tech moves fast because the people we serve need us to. We're continuously working to make sure that energy stays energising, not exhausting — through better resourcing, team rituals, and long-term sustainability. Your feedback keeps us honest on that front. We're proud to be building something meaningful in health-tech, and it's the long-tenured, passionate people like you who make Halodoc what it is. Here's to the road ahead — together. Cheers !

Pros

In my first six months joining Halodoc, I experienced a very welcoming and positive environment, with a smooth onboarding process that made it easier to adapt from the very beginning. I was given the opportunity to learn many new things, grow quickly, and gain hands-on experience through the guidance and support from the team. The work culture here is collaborative and professional, but still feels comfortable and supportive. Colleagues are easy to communicate with and always willing to help each other professionally. The leaders here truly “humanize humans” — approachable, understanding, supportive, and consistently giving constructive feedback that helps employees grow. The workplace is dynamic and flexible in a good way, creating a healthy balance between productivity and comfort. Employee well-being is also genuinely valued here. I must say the company feels very Gen Z-friendly, even though I’m a millennial myself 😄 The culture is also very appreciative, so every effort and contribution feels recognized and valued. There are many engaging office events that make the working environment feel fun and far from boring. The company also provides various sports activities for employees, ranging from badminton, yoga, to padel. Kudos to the HC team for creating such a positive and enjoyable workplace culture! There are also many team bonding activities that I personally think are very important, especially because strong collaboration between both interdepartmental and intradepartmental teams is highly encouraged here. These activities help build better communication, stronger teamwork, and a more connected working environment overall. Another thing I really appreciate is how every department is encouraged and supported to utilize AI in daily work processes. This creates a learning environment where employees become more adaptive to technology, improve efficiency, and continuously learn smarter and more effective ways of working.

Cons

Workload can become overwhelming during peak periods. Some processes are still manual, which can sometimes cause inefficiencies and slower coordination between departments. However, like many companies in the tech-based healthcare industry, continuously automating existing processes is naturally a challenge and part of the ongoing growth journey. The adoption of AI, which is still something relatively new for many people, also pushes employees to continuously update and improve themselves. Personally, I see this as a good thing because it encourages us to stay adaptive, keep learning, and grow alongside the rapid development of technology.
