Pros

Small family environment and the willingness to give responility when you prove yourself. There are not many people working there still and they have anembeded culture that rewards seniority pretty heavily. Might be a decent place to work while you are trying to go somewhere but I would not make it a finanl destinantion for a career choice. They have pretty decent employee benifits as far as discounts on a home purchase but no as good as some of the others.

Cons

Housing industry is horrible and they are downsizing and cutting back. Right now there are not any real positions available with them or thief management company.

"Recognize dead wieght earlier on and deal with it accordingly. Before you guys laid off essentially everyone there were a ton of employees leeching off the comany that did not provide and real value added." Thank you for this feedback. The time leading up to the great recession and the period that followed was a valuable learning experience for us. We learned we had many employees "functionally siloed" in positions that involved moving work from one desk to another. Coming out of the great recession, we leaned up, got rid of paper, and the need for people in positions that involved moving paper from their outbox to someone else's in box.
