      Pros

      The office is incredible. The company has provided multiple areas for staff to gather, collaborate, and take a break. Being located on the Country Club Plaza, allows for staff to walk to lunch or grab a cocktail after work. The entire office has natural daylight and great views of both the KC skyline and south plaza.

      There are no cons in the workplace.

      My time at HW was filled with great projects, great clients, and great co-workers. HW’s leadership knows that growing thoughtful and technically competent architects/engineers leads to sustained growth for the firm. Their commitment to giving young architects/engineers the opportunity to accelerate their career growth is admirable and a reason to seriously consider seeking out opportunities to work for HW.

      Hoefer Welker has an amazing culture, and has a close Hoefer Welker has an amazing culture, and has a close tight knit family like firm. -best idea wins regardless of seniority -Large scale projects with national clients -several bill types, you can get five years of experience in two because you are thrown right into the mix. -so many different types of projects going on at once you get exposure to everything and can discover what you really want to work on for your career. -flexible scheduling -nine paid holidays every year -awesome benefits available on the first of the month following the month that you Began employment — Mitch Hoefer and Rob Welker are the best guys to work for hands down! -Have three firms, one here in Leawood Kansas, a second in Dallas Texas, and soon opening a Jacksonville Florida location this summer. -Competitive pay and opportunity for career advancement

      After thinking about it for a while I honestly cannot think of some thing that was a con other than perhaps they are situated on two different floors. So depending on the department you’re in can feel separated from the rest of the firm in Kansas City. However they will rectify that shortly because they are building a new office space as we speak. Everyone there enjoys what they do too much, and hard work does not go unnoticed. Wait I guess that was another pro
