Hubly is a fast growing startup that is looking for people that raise the bar. When we hire we look for people that are better or more skilled than those we already have. When we hire them we give them autonomy to really perform and really show us what they are capable of.
Cons
If you're just looking for a job where people tell you what to do and you just do it then Hubly is probably not a good fit for you.
A lot of care goes into hiring and it shows — across the board, team members are knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help. Management has done a great job building a culture based on a core set of values (not in a weird way). It’s a collaborative environment where everyone is encouraged to share their opinions. There seems to be a good market fit for the product.
Cons
It’s a startup with ambitious goals. Things change quickly, blah blah blah, you know the deal. Someone who is very rigid in their approach to their job, or isn’t big on collaboration, likely wouldn’t do well.
Working at Hubly feels like you're a part of a team that cares about not only the app we're building but each other as well. I have always felt supported and heard. We're encouraged to voice our truth and try something new if we think it will have a positive impact. It's not a rigid environment, in fact, it's one of the most flexible places I have worked. A bonus is that it is fully remote and travel is quite common among team members!
Cons
It's honestly tough to say. The only downfall for me is that I live on the East Coast and they are based in Vancouver.
