Pros

Hulafrog provides a friendly, supportive, and nurturing environment for their staff. As the managing editor you receive in-depth training and will develop sound skills in digital marketing, online publishing, and advertising sales. The schedule is flexible but we do have to meet publishing schedule. This role provides excellent opportunities to be greatly involved with your local community. And your kids would think you are super cool.

Cons

Not necessarily cons but I would like to point out that the managing editor role is a part time, commission based position. There isn't any benefits and it could take a while before you can see results.

Feels Like a Team

Pros

While the editor role is part time, remote, Hulafrog fosters a great team environment with weekly check-in calls, a Workplace group to post questions/get help and more. I always feel supported in my editor role.

Cons

Pay is based on ad sales, so ramping up your income can take time and sometimes your income will fluctuate.
