Pros

Five words minimum so here’s 6

Cons

- Workplace bullying is completely tolerated and is very common and severe - Expectations placed on employees vs pay. Overnight workers do not get a shift premium. Only begrudgingly did the company agree to pay minimum wage when it went up to $14 and even then layoffs were extensive. Before $14, overnight workers were making $11.40 - Absolutely zero upwards mobility - employees who’ve been there decades and are very high performers are still in the same position as the day they started - The company is cheap despite their façade and refuses to provide many basic work materials. - Favouritism is blatant. Employees who are “favourites”, and oftentimes are family members of higher up, get many benefits such as a better shift, the possibility for upwards mobility, almost complete immunity from dismissal or layoff, and even in some cases better pay. It’s “cliquey” as well. - Illegal deductions are made from employees’ pay checks - attempts are made to strong-arm and bully employees into signing consent for this. - Overall (TL;DR) the company makes it clear in many ways that they don’t care for their employees. This job will not be worth your time and you’ll get nowhere.
