Pros
Friendly, adaptive staff, varied work (depending on department.), a genuine will to change, excellent care of staff in terms of allowing time off for personal reasons, etc.
Cons
Very few career prospects, poor dissemination of information, lack of proactive planning, little to no feedback in most areas and exasperatingly slow process of implementing changes where necessary. Even if the process itself of identifying where improvements could be made seemed to take months, if not years.
