Pros

I've been with Idea Grove for 10+ years and have seen the agency evolve over time, and am genuinely excited about where we are right now. Our clients are wonderful (innovative, collaborative, and truly nice people), and you won't find a more talented team. Everyone is sharp, humble, and always willing to step in and help each other out. Our PR team especially stands out--consistently landing top-tier coverage which is no small feat in today's media environment. IG has also grown its performance marketing offering (SEO, PPC, LinkedIn ads) to give clients more ways to increase their visibility. Our culture and innovation wouldn't be what it is without Scott: he's created an environment that is supporting and caring, while always looking to improve, innovate and bring new value for clients. Because of that, we're always testing new tools and experimenting with new ideas, which is one of the things I enjoy most about my job. As a mom, a huge pro for me is our remote model. And since most of us are in Dallas we're still able to get together in-person as a team and with our local clients. We also have membership in a coworking space which is nice when I need a change in environment. I also appreciate how we're a fairly flat org with high autonomy and trust. Everyone has a voice and the freedom to execute, but there's support when you need it. This structure lets us innovate quickly and stay ahead of client needs and market shifts instead of getting stuck in process for the sake of process.

Cons

The fast pace of agency life isn't for everyone, but as someone who thrives on challenge and variety, I much prefer this above a more slow-paced and monotonous job!

Pros

- The agency is experiencing exciting growth in 2025, expanding clients and services while maintaining exceptional client and employee retention, which is a testament to strong relationships, both internally and with clients, and a supportive work environment. - The team is one of the most collaborative and tight-knit groups I’ve ever worked with, and a big reason I’ve stayed at the agency for years. I truly enjoy the people I work alongside — they’re dedicated to delivering exceptional results while also fostering a healthy work culture. - There’s a strong sense of autonomy here, with team members trusted and empowered to deliver great work. - Team members are constantly learning and growing. With the industry evolving daily, the agency stays ahead of the curve by embracing new ideas to remain innovative. - Remote work and generous time off make it especially supportive for team members with families or busy schedules.

Cons

- The pace can be demanding, with client loads that fluctuate and occasionally create unpredictable busy periods.

Pros

2025 has been an exceptional year. The agency is on pace for more than 55% year-over-year revenue growth, with client and employee retention both approaching 90%. In the PR and marketing world, that’s an extraordinary achievement—and it speaks to the strength, professionalism, and dedication of the people who work here. The PR team continues to produce outstanding results, securing top-tier coverage and building long-term client relationships. At the same time, the performance marketing practice—spanning SEO, PPC, and LinkedIn Ads—has grown rapidly, expanding our capabilities and impact. This success comes from a culture that embraces adaptability and innovation, ensuring we remain ahead of industry trends and client needs. The agency operates lean by design, which reflects smart financial management rather than cost-cutting. This approach allows us to invest resources where they will have the greatest effect—whether that’s new tools, enhanced processes, or opportunities for team development. One of the best aspects of working here is the fully remote setup combined with a close-knit culture. Most of the team is based in the Dallas area, making it easy to connect in person for team gatherings and client meetings. It’s the best of both worlds—flexibility for day-to-day life and opportunities for face-to-face collaboration. Management trusts the team to deliver, which creates an environment of autonomy and accountability that is both motivating and empowering.

Cons

While the pace can be demanding and workloads increase during busy periods, it’s also an environment where those who thrive on challenge and variety can do their best work and see the direct impact of their efforts.
