      Pros

      I'm very proud to be part of the Independence Plus team. If you want to make a difference in the lives of people with complex medical needs, this is a wonderful place to do it. Very supportive workplace with a patient-first mentality.

      Pros

      The manager respects and protects his workers. Independence. Company vehicle. 4 stop per day on average when they're fully staffed.

      Cons

      Salary, so negotiate on the high side because you'll be on-call. They cover a huge area and they have a large patient population so on-call can really suck but you're compensated for your extra stops. Be prepared to be called out at all hours of the night. They carry alot of equipment so there's a large learning curve.

      Never going back to a hospital

      Pros

      You care for patients in their home. Great job for people who like variety in their day, enjoy seeing the impact they personally make on a patient’s life. Great team approach!

      Cons

      You don’t get to eat hospital cafeteria food anymore with an employee discount.
