Pros

This position is 100% remote and offers health benefits, an RRSP, and access to a senior team.

Cons

The start-up mentality is evident, but client prospecting is slow, and there are limited growth opportunities in the short term.

Pros

It's a remote environment with lots of flexibility and autonomy. Feels like a grown-up environment with a lot of trust in the people. Good-hearted, honest, dedicated people at all levels. People have very diverse backgrounds, including the entire exec time, so there's a lot of inclusion and tolerance. Overall it's a mature, respectful, professional environment where people have the space to do very interesting work.

Cons

Since the company is still fairly new there is a lack of financial stability, which means that unfortunately the company does not yet offer benefits and perks that larger. more established organizations do, such as RRSP matching, spending accounts, etc. Hopefully we will see that implemented in the future.

Pros

The work at Infostrux both from the DevOps and Data Enginneering perspective is challenging, however, satisfying due to the complexity of client needs. The company has a full-time work-from-home environment which can be great for employees work/life balance. The Infostrux team are skilled individuals with a culture of sharing ideas and experiences, which provides an excellent resource for people looking to learn and expand their experience in DevOps and Data Engineering.

Cons

Due to the complexity of the work, this requires significant and continuous self-education to keep up with the industry, not everyone is cut out for this demand.
