Good people at IMI

Pros

IMI is full of friendly co-workers and lots of smart people. I would say the culture is pretty healthy. There is a feeling that everyone is on the same team. The company is always pushing the bounds into new and interesting R&D projects. You will learn a lot if you engage. Similarly, there are lots of opportunities to challenge yourself. The R&D projects are always changing, and each project is unique.

Cons

The business is largely out of your hands as an engineer, and IMI has had trouble in the past with winning and keeping customers. The customers will not always engage with IMI in the most reasonable manner. There will always be a technical problem that you will have to work around.
