I LOVE THIS COMPANY

Pros

I love that I have autonomy to just get the job done. The Co-Founders have tremendous experience in the space and provide the right level of strategic and hands-on guidance. Fantastic group of people on the team--they have a culture of transparency, no ego, smart people, just get it done mentality.

Cons

It's a late stage start up, so not a lifestyle job. People who thrive here are very smart and work hard, but not unreasonably hard. This is not a job for someone who wants 9-5.

Great Mobile App Company

Pros

You are given full autonomy to get your job done. The founders trust their leadership team and look to them to be the Subject Matter Experts (SME). This is the type of company where the Founders do like to get involved in the decision making process which is a good thing. As the company is constantly working on A/B tests to improve efficiency and performance of the app it is important to socialize your new product or test within the group. This type of open communication fosters an environment where each team can work towards accomplishing their goal without the risk of projects colliding. The ability to not follow the rest of the industry but be seen as leaders. Teams at Jump Ramp Games are not afraid to push the upper boundaries of our tech even with the potential risk of failing. This has allowed our organization to push out new products every two weeks. With this aggressive cycle we are able to build and iterate any changes that need to be made in a very short window of time. This has allowed the company to build one of the most sophisticated monetization engines in the industry. I enjoy coming into work everyday as my co-workers/peers are very talented individuals. It is a pleasure getting to work side by side with several teams each day who are driven to not just get the job done but go up and beyond what is needed. This past summer they started Summer Fridays and we were actually encouraged to leave the office on Friday. Nice to see an Executive team that values their employees time with their families.

Cons

Would be great to see us setup a more regular cadence around all hands. I know that the team has an open door policy here but it is always nice to get everyone in a room to hear thoughts on the company from all perspectives. These all hands tend to be very constructive meetings for the company.

Pros

Jump Ramp has an experienced, dedicated leadership team. They are continuously evolving the product and have their sights on adding new games to the portfolio in Q 3. The culture at the company is great--filled with smart, problem-solvers who know how to collaborate well. The company's HR lead has done a nice job upgrading benefits and vacation policies. They just rolled out half day Summer Fridays and they host regular Town Hall sessions to ensure the team is up to date on the strategy and results of the business. Flat organization with a whole lot of room to dig in and make a contribution.

Cons

In an effort to scale quickly, at times, we prioritize too many things. May need to scale it down to a finite few priorities though this is not uncommon in adtech.
