Pros

If you are energetic, motivated, driven with great work ethic, please keep reading. If you're looking for a place where employees are valued and your opinion matters KCTS Television is the place to be. Focused on innovation, community and their employees wellness, friendly environment, family atmosphere. Employee moral is important to KCTS Television/ Crosscut Senior Management and their managers. If you're looking for a non-profit public media organization that serves its community, with great work atmosphere, look no further Cascade Public Media (KCTS Television and Crosscut) is the place to be.

Cons

Everyone is different and no one is perfect, there will always be negative comments just like there are positive ones, it's called LIFE; you live long enough you'll hear plenty more. However if there's one negative opinion I can share with a prospective employee it's traffic... Mercer Street mess! Welcome to Seattle ;-p

Pros

Crosscut and KCTS 9 are a shining light in an industry full of news layoffs. They are hiring and expanding the local news coverage, moving to digital and actually trying new things. The managers are open to innovation and new things, which is a plus for a millenial who wants to try new things (at least if you're on the digital side). It also offers job security and good pay for the media industry.

Cons

It's still a legacy news organization which comes with bureaucracy and sometimes can be very slow moving. But at least the org is trying!
