- Managers are understaning and flexible people
- They care about your feedbacks (they take your suggestions into account)
- The workload is reasonable
- They support you for learning (you should be active and ask)
- There are lots of potentials for improving the product (performance, etc) and it gives you the opportunity to have new experience in new areas
I had doubt joinging Kalido after reading the super negative review on glassdoor, I talked to some poeple who had worked for Kalido before to make sure it's a good environment to work at. I'm glad I decided to join the team and I am considering continue my cooperation for long time.
Cons
Nothing really to mention, I just remember for the first couple of months there were a lot of things to understand about the code, and needed to work over time. I was under stress.
Kalido acts like a more mature company than it actually is, while still having the lean agility of a startup. The processes are clear and unconvoluted, simply there to make your work easier and not to stay in your way. That maturity is most likely caused by the very experienced management and the technical prowess of the team (both the in house one and the contracted people).
It offers its employees what it sets to make available to its users: a plethora of opportunities. There wasn't a day since joining that I didn't learn something new.
Both the company and the management respect and act on the company values. Those values aren't just a façade.
Cons
Social bonding. I get that the team in London is only now starting to shape up. But I feel we could do more in this regard. We do have one weekly lunch when we're supposed to do that. But I feel that's too little.
