Kings Domain Barbershop provides plenty of learning opportunities, networking events and industry competitions to their employees.
Cons
Management can be a hit or miss - educators and managers/supervisors are not formally trained to deal with people and cannot address workplace issues in a consistent and professional manner. Workers are expected to come in to the shop earlier than start time to set up and are also expected to stay back until the shop is cleaned to satisfaction (without overtime pay). This can be upwards of 30-45 minutes of extra work every day. Workplace satisfaction seems to be pretty low among other workers.
