Pros

Getting the basics out of the way, KP offers a competitive salary with a revenue sharing program paying out monthly (and it's decent to say the least). I've been here for 2 years, and have seen a low turnover rate, with most moving on to executive roles in cybersecurity (CISO/CIO) (Those $200k/annual roles you just can't pass up), so I feel comfortable that I have a role at KP in the long term (I'm not living in fear of layoffs like some other company's I've worked for). Even being remote, I have more support than I could ever need. I learned early that KP actually encourages (and recognizes) collaboration. Even know I've been in the industry for over 25 years, the access I have to senior level engineers, leaders, penetration testers, and other auditors, has really expanded my technical knowledge and my perspective at the same time. While you may travel up to 50% of the time, it's rarely that high, and you're normally only gone Monday-Thursday evening or Friday. While researching prior to accepting the offer, and based on my experience thus far, KP does have a strong reputation in the industry for performing thorough and detailed audits. Joseph (CEO) and Stephanie (COO) seem genuinely invested in employee well-being. They're very transparent in what they're doing and why. When changes occur, I see executives like Stephanie advocating for the auditors when the impact of the change is discussed. From a survival standpoint, IMO KP is stable and experiencing continual growth. I don't think the company carries any debt either, so they're not as susceptible to market trend impacts. Overall, a career-destination if you have the technical ability to pass the Randy Bartells interview.

Cons

You may have to travel up to 50% of the time. However, from my experience it's more 30%-40% of the time. You're subject to engagement timelines, which means there's time you may need to put in some long days to get your work done, but it's far from all the time. You will need your own credit card for expenses while traveling. While you can use the company's portal to arrange and pay for air travel using a company account, You'll need a credit card that can accommodate around $2000 for hotel, rental car/Uber, food, and incidentals. However, reimbursement occurs typically within 1-2 weeks of you submitting your expense report (long before interest accrues) (TIP: get a airline credit card for your local carrier (e.g. Delta) to really rack up those miles.

Pros

Ethical, challenging, lot of integrity. CEO Joseph Kirkpatrick is one of the most honorable leaders I have ever had the pleasure to work under.

Cons

None to mention really, it's a great place to work.
