There will be the occasional long hours, and sometimes, it will be like that for weeks or months. Like any place where one wants to build a career, the hours are not 9-5, so it will not work for those looking to clock in and clock out.
Typical challenges of a start-up can be overwhelming at times. It also means there is an opportunity for one to have influence and contribute greatly to the growth of Knit.
Sometimes there are no answers to the questions you are trying to solve, and being resourceful is key to addressing your problem.
Depending on the role, there is little upfront training. However, constructive feedback is given during our daily calls and provided if asked (but you have to ask!)
Too much autonomy could be a challenge for some. One must be comfortable that there is no handholding, be able to self-manage their time and stay organized to deliver on deadlines.
Things can change fast at Knit, and you have to be comfortable with the unknown. It is very hard sometimes, but you will grow tremendously as a person.
