Pros

- Laven is an industry leader in compliance/regulatory hosting services, and it has been operating for nearly 20 years. The team is smart and friendly, and the location of the office is super central (at Bank). Hybrid working means you can work from home 2-3 days a week. - Laven offers a comprehensive training programme for new starter, which is great for more junior staff as you will learn everything about the compliance/regulatory field. - You need to be able to multitask and manage time efficient, and you can most certainly learn a lot on the job. There are opportunities for career progression/promotion.

Cons

- Due to recent changes to the company as a whole, systems to manage, monitor and communicate need to be updated. You need to be able to work with different channels and resources to stay efficient and effective. - Sometimes can lack clarity or direction from management, which means you need to self-motivate and initiate projects to deliver your job and beyond.

Pros

You will likely be put into a team of friendly people, who will help you to learn the systems and encourage you to develop your skills. If you want to take on more responsibilities there is often opportunity to do so. Staff regularly meet up after work, and the company puts on meals and events every so often, so lots of opportunities to get to know collegues and other parts of the business. Lots of choice regarding work life balance, some people choose to put everything into their work, and are usually rewarded, but equally the company respects people who want to leave work to office hours. There is a good hybrid working model, and the company has demonstrated flexibility when people have needed to work remotely for longer periods or needed to take leave at short notice.

Cons

Sometimes communication from senior management could be better, many staff are left unaware of significant business developments until the last minute, and most staff only have vague ideas about what the company's future development plans are.
