Pros

The people at Leanpath are kind and incredibly talented. The mission to reduce global food waste is meaningful and nearly everyone is engaged and committed. Executive leadership is transparent and leads by example. We are starting to put formal processes and programs in place that will help us scale & work more efficiently.

Cons

Compensation and benefits could be a tad bit better considering we're a tech company, but it's clear the company is prioritizing working on improving both.

Pros

A 1/3 of the world's food is wasted. It's a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Leanpath invented a solution to track and prevent food waste in foodservice kitchens. Leanpath works with the world's largest foodservice companies cutting their food waste in half. I love the fact that everyday I get to work on such an important global issue. My colleagues are hard working, humane and supportive. I feel like I can be myself, I can be honest if I don't know something. That kind of honesty is encouraged. I've grown in my field because I've been given the opportunity again and again to learn more. It's a small company that invented the solution space. It is creating an industry that never existed. We problem solve every day. We succeed, we make mistakes, we support each other, and we never lose sight that while work is important, we are people living our lives.

Cons

It is a small company with all the benefits and drawbacks that entails. I enjoy the creative problem solving that is needed when resources are constrained. I've worked in large companies where every system is developed, honed and followed. At Leanpath we are still creating systems. Not everyone will be suited to that kind of entrepreneurial atmosphere. No company is perfect. What I like about Leanpath is it is honest when there are shortcomings and is always working to be better.

Pros

So many! - Mission oriented SaaS B-Corp focused on the global problem of food waste. - Passionate, welcoming team who are dedicated to mission. - Industry Leaders who invented the technology market for this area. - A Strong culture of innovation. - A company who's growing out of it's startup days into a more polished, efficient company. - Great, responsible leadership through COVID in one of the hardest hit industries. - Leadership who honestly cares about your work life balance and well being.

Cons

Many roles need more focus, some people are wearing too many hats. Some of this is by choice and some of it is by necessity. It does hurt the company on occasion. Some roles are below market compensation. The benefit bar has been raised, but we are too dependent on mission for team retention. It needs fixed over the next 12 months.
