My time at MAJORITY was overall a positive experience, but there are some aspects worth mentioning for those considering joining.
One of the main downsides is that salary growth is quite slow, which can be frustrating in the long run. Additionally, while the company promotes flexibility, working hours can sometimes be longer than in a typical Swedish company, which is something to keep in mind when considering work-life balance.
A particular point of disappointment for many early employees was the equity program. Despite vesting shares for a long period, the actual outcome never really materialized into something valuable for Day 1 employees. While this was partly due to bad luck, it was also a result of how the management team structured the program, which left some long-term contributors feeling undervalued.
That said, the company still has a strong product and a team of talented, humble individuals. If compensation and equity potential aren’t your top priorities, it can still be a good place to grow and gain experience.
