Pros

Have worked at MBA for 8+ years, having developed from BDM, to AM, to SAM, to AD to Sales Manager. Staff development is second to none, and the people who have left MBA over the years are usually very grateful for their experience and development here (people tend to hang around a while!). Feedback from customers, has always been brilliant (due to a heavily service driven, committed team at the back end who make sure operations run smoothly). A true value added technology partner to customers (with customer retention rates well above industry average!) and family feel business who are hugely ambitious and committed to extremely high standards.

Cons

Ultimately this is a small to medium business (which punches well above it's weight with great people). If you aren't up for working hard, then it probably isn't for you.

Pros

I started at MBA as an apprentice and have been given the training and environment to develop through key stages in my early career whilst being support by senior and more experienced members of staff.

Cons

There have been very few if any downsides to working at MBA and especially none that come to mind.

Pros

Great core values shown in the business, clear expectations set on what is required to do a great job for the customer, and very good reward and recognition for doing so. Loads of support, training, guidance given, te right exposure given to currnet and emerging technologies, alongside coaching to understand what the real technology and commercial drivers are for the customer, so we can better understand how to deliver them. Overall a great place to learn (or consolidate) Technology and commercial skills as there are people around you who are experienced, capable and genuinely want to help everyone in the firm. Good fun team, all professional and supportive and focussed on the right outcomes for customers - which will yield the right outcomes for the company. Everybody in the firm from top to bottom is approachable and will stop what they are doing to help you. Very good reputation with customers and also with vendor partners. Hybrid working set up, which has been working well ever since, team is kept "together" with daily catch ups, and "office" time is used well for training, collaboration, sharing ideas and feedback. Team lunch every Thursday (greek is a favourite atm), and usually a quick drink after work on a Thursday as well as a team night out every few months - normally to a local comedy club.

Cons

Despite turning over 10's of millions and having a roster of long-term, household name/blue-chip clients, it's ultimately a small firm (15 people, very strong balance sheet). Very focussed on what it does for customers, which will only ever require 3 depts, so this will be limiting for some who want to find a grad scheme that touches all departments, or climb a corporate ladder, or be seconded to the Madrid office, work abroad, etc. Absolutely not for everyone, but great place for those willing to absorb, learn, and do a great job.
