      Having worked for the company for 8 years in total, I can say that great management creates great staff and has opened up many opportunities and progression for myself. Current management are approachable and personable and show value and thanks to hardworking staff.

      Staffing levels are sometimes left leaner than needed

      Flexible workplace with friendly colleagues

      As a parent, I have found Macfarlane Packaging a positive place to work for both myself and members of my team. We have been offered flexibility and an understanding around working patterns. Being part of a central team, we're also able to enjoy hybrid working that supports this. Colleagues are the biggest highlight of working at Macfarlane. Everyone is friendly and there is a real feeling of family. Good opportunities for career and professional development - management will support ongoing learning.

      The breadth of the business can be challenging for new starters to learn about.

      Thanks very much for leaving your review. It's fair to say that the business is certainly 'family friendly' with some good flexibility and a level of understanding which is often mutual amongst colleagues. Hybrid working helps with this (applicable to many roles) and we couldn't agree more that in terms of our culture, it really does feel like one extended family.
