Pros

Had full benefits including 401K options and healthcare. Flexible time off meant that I could take breaks when I needed to and avoid burnout. Management listened to the needs of its employees and was flexible with remote work during the pandemic.

Cons

Most opportunities within the company felt horizontal, ie. moving from support to sales with little training options for higher positions. I felt that I learned the job quickly and there wasn't much variation in what I was doing from the day to day which became too repetitive.

Pros

MakeMusic provides a wonderful working environment. Employees are passionate about our products and shared values. Managers are supportive, convey clear business strategy, and are open to feedback. Managers have listened and responded well to employees during the challenges of COVID. The structure of working alongside other brands at Peaksware, such as Alfred Music and TrainingPeaks, improves the MakeMusic environment. There are ample opportunities for growth.

Cons

The kombucha on tap was watery once.
