Enjoyed my Part Time Summer Job

Pros

As a part time merchandiser, I only worked with my supervisor and one to three other coworkers. Really relaxed, down-to-earth job, and lovely being surrounded by flowers and plants all day. Job was physical but not difficult. Pay was about a dollar above minimum wage.

Cons

On slow days we sometimes ran out of tasks and didn't have a supervisor around to find us new instructions.

Great job for plant/flower lovers

Pros

Fun, colorful, beautiful work environment. If you enjoy maintaining visual displays and working around plants this is the job for you! Bosses are great with communication and positive. I personally loved getting to learn about plants and gardening while working here.

Cons

Working in the rain, but as long as you have the right clothing and some rain boots it’s not a big con.
