Pros

Lots of smart people to work with who are developing great things for the health industry. I was welcomed immediately by the team and have been given the opportunity to learn about the various departments within the company. The workplace environment is great from the culture, nice open plan office, and amazing colleagues. The CEO is very personable, intelligent and provides great feedback. This is a company where I will be able to grow my skills, knowledge, and professionalism.

Cons

...we ran out of chocolate covered almonds. Really, nothing to complain about other than the wifi sometimes going out which is annoying and learning to switch between Microsoft office tools and Google tools.

Pros

They were very accepting of me even though I was way younger than everyone else and it was a great learning environment for me.

Cons

To be honest, there really were not any cons in my experience when I was interning there because everyone did a great job.

Pros

* The culture is warm, inviting, and inclusive. The spirit of collaboration is strong and there's a wonderful family atmosphere. * At the end of the day, knowing you're helping people achieve positive health outcomes makes you feel all warm and glowy inside. * Hours are reasonable and schedules are flexible. After nearly two months, I have yet to feel pressured to work more than a 40 hour week. * Stable and profitable. It's a great place to work if you have a young family or are thinking of starting one. * The company is currently in a real sweet spot in terms of its size: small enough that your own contributions feel like they have significant impact, but large enough that you don't feel like the entire operation rests solely on your shoulders. * Snacks and drinks are abundant and include prominent healthy options. * Catered lunch on Fridays. It has yet to disappoint my discerning palate and special care is always made to ensure that everyone's unique dietary quirks are honored and respected.

Cons

* The code base has been around long enough to allow some technical debt to accrue and some of the tools in the stack are a little behind the times, though serious efforts are being made to correct this. * The company's growth is beginning to exceed some of the office's capacity. There's occasionally a line to use the restroom. * Some of the glitz and glamor of other start-ups in the area is absent in terms of benefits and compensation. * Like most Bay Area tech companies, there's a bit of a diversity problem. White and asian races are a bit overrepresented.
