Pros
It became recently a family business. A family has interest to make live long its company. In a family business not everything is ROI driven. Some decisions are taken with heart more than with mind. There are many people working in the business since ever and forever. The new property has the name of the company. These things are all extremely positive and quiet unique. The salary is aligned with market.
Cons
The cons are the same as the pros - it just depends on how you are and on what you want. Now it's a family business, where decisions are taken with less rationality, there are people who'll never leave, for the property the brand is like a child, it's not only about results but also about having a very good relationship with those who matter. What does it mean? If you love all this you'll like it, otherwise not. Personal point: I'm not a fan of the social life in Annecy Area, but this is quite personal. Anyway the beauty of the town, of the nature around, is not arguable. I encourage people to work here, also Work-Life Balance is amazing. The company is small so career opportunities inside are rare, but you should not expect much more here.
