No B.S. They tell you what you need to deliver to give you opportunity to prepare. Mix of technical assessments and 1:1 discussion. VERY intentional with time to gather data re fit. Very clear up front about the step-wise process to receive an offer.

Cons

It was a lot of work (but shouldn’t it be if you really want the job?)

Cons

* While everyone joins 2-3 IRL retreats / year depending on their role, not as much IRL connection time as IRL companies * High expectations for personal proactivity, responsibility, and generating results isn't for everyone and can be stressful for many * Culture and teammates are fun, warm, and conscious, but the environment is still very intense and hard-charging for some * Direct and candid (with positive intent) feedback culture isn't the right fit for some * Focus on individual / small-group work and writing-based culture isn't the right fit for folks who prefer meetings and large group work

Pros

Mindbloom is an incredible place to work. The hiring team does an excellent job of bringing in genuinely mission-driven people, which makes the work efficient, exciting, and motivating. A few things I really appreciate: - Every quarter, we set aside time to reflect on our progress and set or reevaluate priorities for the upcoming quarter. As a result, you almost never feel like you’re doing busy work—there’s always a clear focus. - The remote-first, asynchronous environment allows me to get into a flow state and produce stronger work. - Ability to own work streams and project early on

Cons

If you don't like a remote work environment this might not be for you but otherwise no cons.
