Minted is a great place to work

Pros

What stands out most is the culture. Management truly empowers individual contributors to take ownership of projects from conception to execution. I’ve found the cross-departmental collaboration to be seamless; people are genuinely invested in each other’s success rather than just staying in their silos. The results have been exceptional!

Cons

As with many high-growth companies, the pace can be quite fast. While this is exciting, it requires strong prioritization skills to stay on top of shifting project timelines.

Pros

Room to grow and explore interests Best place to work if you love taking ownership Empowered to work on what I love every single day Found my stride here: great projects and even better growth A rare balance of autonomy and professional development The SF office is beautiful and has a great culture with the right balance of hybrid expectations and fun events

Cons

Normal growing pains of moving from a start up company to an established company

Pros

A solid place to work with kind, smart people who genuinely care about what they do and about each other. The mission to support independent artists is meaningful, and the products are beautiful and something you can feel proud of. Leadership is generally approachable and engaged, and there’s been a noticeable push to invest more in learning and growth. Pay and benefits are decent, with nice perks like wellness credits, commuter support, and a good employee discount. Work-life balance is usually reasonable, though Q4 can be intense because of the seasonal nature of the business.

Cons

It can feel like a long stretch during the holiday season. As the company evolves, there’s still some figuring things out - lots of meetings, constant Slack messages, and ongoing efforts to work more efficiently and use technology better. The CEO is kind and well-intentioned, but sometimes feels a bit removed, and it would be helpful to hear more about the long-term vision.

Thank you for this thoughtful feedback. We’re glad our mission, people, and products resonate, and that investments in learning, growth, and benefits are being felt. We recognize the intensity of Q4, and we’re actively working to improve focus, efficiency, and how we use our tools and time throughout the year. We also appreciate the input on leadership visibility and long-term vision and will continue to look for ways to communicate more clearly and consistently about where we’re headed.
