Pros
- Starting pay is now competitive ever since demand for CLTs and CLS's rose due to COVID19
- Great stepping stone for CLTs looking to get into the CLS program in CA
- You may start slow for a bit, but then once you show you can take on the workload with little to know supervision you get to learn a wide variety of assays
- People are shy, but the people at Monogram are very welcoming and friendly. We would have potlucks, celebrate birthdays, labweek, a Biz (company month long celebration with tasks and team building interdepartamental), and holiday parties which livened up coworkers
- Monogram has great benefits as an employer with discounted prices in healthcare and Perks at work account you get access to for you and your family
- You get major holidays off unless assigned to work them (rotating among coworkers), but you are allowed to swap them with someone else if you wanted it off.
- 2 weeks of paid time off with ability to borrow if needed but can't be negative hours by the end of the year
- They provide you with prescription safety glasses if needed
- They do their best to listen to their employees needs and concerns
- They are LGBTQ+ friendly which is a huge plus, they are a diverse group now more-so than when I first started working there
Cons
- Sometimes it felt like the workload was a bit too much to do with short staffing issues
