Pros
I’ve read a lot of harsh reviews about MOSCOT and the CEO, Harvey. Everyone has their own experience and truth. I want to share mine.
I moved to NYC and started working at MOSCOT the day after my move. They made me feel right at home from the start. The week before my orientation they asked if I could come to the HQ to meet Harvey and Zach. I was a little shocked. Why would they want to meet me? I’m just a CSR. I was used to an office culture where the CEO and other higher ups barely acknowledged you, let alone wanted to meet you. Nervously I went but again, both Harvey and Zach put me right at ease. Friendly and outgoing and so passionate about their company. It made me excited to work here.
Fast forward three months and at the very height of the busy holiday season I had a major health emergency that put me in the ICU for a week. Freaking out I was going to lose my job, I was told not to worry just concentrate on getting better. The day I get out of the hospital, my father died. Again the MOSCOT family was there for me.
Listen, I was a new employee with 90 days under my belt. No reason at all for them to be that kind and understanding. My last company after 10 years of service gave me grief about taking a week off to have my gallbladder removed! So you can see why I was freaking out. When I came back to work my colleagues were there for me as well. A few days later Harvey and Zach came to visit CS and the first thing they both asked was how are you? Anything you need? Please take it easy.
This is how they are. They really care about their employees. Everyone from the sales floor to upper management is the same way.
Through the years I’ve seen people come and go. I have made some amazing friendships that I’m forever grateful for.
Harvey and Zach have listened to suggestions I’ve made and make me feel heard. I love that they’ll encourage outside the box ideas.
When the pandemic hit things got scary. They made it a point to keep us in the loop. We had virtual happy hours and get togethers so even in the lockdowns, we could be together and try to have some fun even via zoom.
A lot has changed in the 5 years I’ve been here. I’m excited for the growth we’re experiencing and to put it simply, I’m a happy camper. Starting over in a new city with a new job at 45 wasn’t easy. Having a job with a company like this made it easier. Best thing I ever did.
Cons
Every job has a down side. This isn’t the enchanted forest after all. Nasty customers drive me insane. Not the company’s fault though.
