      The Nebraska State Patrol is a nationally accredited law enforcement agency which is responsible for providing statewide law enforcement services. There is a tremendous amount of diversity in the type of services provided which address the full spectrum of law enforcement and public safety issues. The employees of the Nebraska State Patrol are capable and professional. By and large they are committed to a high standard of excellence and dedicate themselves to the true concept of public service.

      Cons

      The mission requirements for the agency require employees to work long hours, often times over holidays and weekends. The agency must be responsive to requests for assistance from many different agencies and required to respond to difficult and stressful situations.
