At Next Matter, you can trust that your team members, manager, and leadership will always be respectful, considerate, and transparent. We have an open feedback culture, meaning we encourage the exchange of constructive, open feedback. We approach problems and conflicts with a "we" mentality, and that's something I've always found truly unique about our company. Also, we're encouraged to work "how we work best", organize ourselves accordingly, and get all the necessary support, resources, and development we need to do our best work. I've never worked for such a trusting and accommodating employer.
Cons
Like any startup, Next Matter's path is a challenging one. We each have to work hard but also remain flexible to trying new things and taking on multiple roles within the team. Also, we are a remote-first team, so in-person contact with the broader team is limited to the quarterly offsite meetings. However, these things can also be seen as Pros for the right person seeking that kind of challenge and working environment.
