Pros

Great small business atmosphere. As a veteran-owned business, we are an extremely patriotic company. The opportunities for growth at NuWaves are vast – much better than I experienced with larger corporations. Put, NuWaves measures success in both business results and employees’ personal and professional growth.

Cons

NuWaves is not a fit for everyone. It is a fast-paced environment and results are demanded. Directors, project managers, and higher-level engineers are expected to contribute to the business development process. Those with a “that’s not my job!” attitude will not fit NuWaves’ culture.

Fantastic work environment and culture - cutting edge RF Engineering

During my tenure at NuWaves I have been given numerous opportunities to grow and develop personally and professionally. The leadership team cares about its employees and regularly puts on events and other employee centered functions. I enjoy working with all of my teammates and never have to worry about getting the resources I need to be successful. This is a place to go if you are ready to work with some of the greatest minds in RF. Pros: - Welcoming work environment - Great benefits (12% percent 401k match!) - Culture of innovation and learning - Dedication to employees - Cutting edge technology - Positive leadership attitude

Cons

The only potential con would be that the work we do requires significant dedication and focus to achieve. Not for someone who just wants a paycheck.

I am glad to see you mentioned working with some of the greatest minds in RF in your review. We do truly have incredibly talented engineers and technicians at NuWaves. RF is a difficult field to master, but we have the fortune of having brilliant minds as well as great teammates on our Engineering Team. As you mentioned, NuWaves is not for everyone. We strive for excellence and push ourselves and our employees to always improve. This can sometimes create a challenging, fast-paced, results-oriented environment. However, we are very conscious of the need to work as one team and pull in the same direction to relieve the stress that can come with this environment. Additionally, we select people that are passionate about their jobs and enjoy work, making work fun even during the most stressful times.

Employees are encouraged to learn and grow both technically and personally. Individual's Ideas and thoughts are greatly valued by management. A true Gem in the competitive work market.
