      Finally A Law Firm with Transparency

      Pros

      Offit Kurman is rare in the law firm space because management provides all of the data re: origination, billables, etc. with everyone. There is no more guessing what your bonus will be - it's a numerical formula. Management is reasonable and compassionate.

      Cons

      As with any firm, not everyone is easy to work with - but generally bad behavior is addressed.

      Entrepreneurial Work Ethic & Diversity of Perspectives

      Pros

      The office environment is welcoming and hybrid work schedules are very common. Everyone is friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand if you need something. The attorneys who have been there a long-time are approachable, down to earth, and love to share their wisdom and advice. The newer attorneys are motivated and well-rounded, creating a really diverse work environment. There is a great entrepreneurial spirit, which encourages collaboration and teamwork. I have made lifelong friends here. I continue to stay at Offit because of the amazing people I get to work with, who are more like family members than coworkers.

      Cons

      There is not enough space in the downtown Washington DC Office. However, the Bethesda Office is beautiful and conveniently located, as is the Tysons Office.
